  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 (9 or 12 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 to 2 pt. frozen strawberries, thawed and drained
  • 1 c. nuts (pecans)
  • 1 box vanilla wafers

Directions

    Mix margarine, egg and sugar.

    Add strawberries.

    Fold in nuts and Cool Whip.

    Place layer of wafers in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Spread half of mixture over wafers.

    Add another layer of wafers and put rest of mixture on top.

    Refrigerate.
