  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. tap water
  • 1 tsp. flavoring (vanilla)
  • 1 c. Crisco

Directions

    Dissolve salt in water in large mixing bowl.
  2. 2
    Add vanilla, Crisco and sifted powdered sugar in a little at a time, stirring with mixer after each addition.
  3. 3
    When all the sugar is in, blend on slow speed of mixer for 10 minutes to make a smooth icing.
