  • 14 cup butter or 14 cup oleo
  • 14 cup all-purpose flour
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 18 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon instant minced onion
  • 2 12 cups cubed cooked ham
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 (8 inch) pastry dough, for single crust pie

Directions

    Melt butter in saucepan, stir in flour, salt, mustard, and pepper until smooth.

    Gradually add milk and onion and bring to a boil.

    Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

    Stir in ham, eggs and peas.

    Pour into an 8 inch square ungreased baking dish.

    On a floured surface, roll pastry to fit top of dish; place over filling.

    Seal and flute edges; cut slits in the top.

    Bake at 425* for 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
