- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 -5 apples, cut into 15 rings about 1/4 inch thick
- 5 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
- oil (for frying)
Directions

1Beat together egg and milk.

2Add flour, salt and baking powder mix well.

3Heat oil in deep skillet until a drop of water spatters.

4Sprinkle the apple rings with cinnamon.

5Dip each ring in batter.

6Fry in oil until golden brown and crisp on both sides.

7Remove with a fork and drain on paper towel.

8Sift powdered sugar over the top.

9Serve warm with jelly or jam and cold whipped cream.
