Deep Fried Baby Calamari

  • None None vegetable oil, for deep-frying
  • 1 lb baby calamari, cleaned, sliced into rings
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, seasoned
  • 2 tsp Greek oregano
  • None None lemon wedges, to serve

Directions

    Heat oil in a medium saucepan or wok to 350°F.

    Toss calamari in flour, shaking off excess. Working in batches, deep-fry calamari until lightly browned and tender. Drain on paper towels then sprinkle with Greek oregano. Serve with lemon wedges.
