Ingredients
- 32 medium-size white mushrooms
- flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. water
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- oil for deep frying
Directions

1Trim off just the tips of the mushroom stems.

2Rinse mushrooms under cold water and drain.

3Roll mushrooms in flour seasoned with salt and pepper.

4Beat together eggs, water and oil.

5Dip mushrooms in egg mixture until well coated.

6Coat mushrooms on all sides with bread crumbs.

7Cook in deep fat fryer until golden brown.

8Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
