Deep Fried Squid Rings

- 2 pounds squid
- 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs italian style
Directions

1Cut 2 the cleaned squid body sacks into 1/2 inch wide rings.

2Rinse well under cold running water.

3In deep fryer heat oil to 375F (190C).

4In plastic bag combine flour, salt and pepper.

5Add a few squid rings at a time, shake until well coated.

6In a shallow bowl combine 2 eggs and 1 cup milk (beaten).

7Dip squid in liquid then in about 1 1/2 Cups Italian Bread Crumbs.

8Fry a few at a time about 45 seconds or until golden brown.

9Drain and keep warm.

10Serve with cocktail sauce or tartar sauce.
