  • 10 to 12 lb. bird
  • 2 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. white sugar
  • olive oil

Directions

    Mix salt into the butter and inject into bird at points around the breast, in legs and thighs.

    You can get an injector needle at any grocery store or hardware store.

    Use all the butter mixture.

    Now let bird drain for a few minutes before placing in cooker.

    Make sure your oil is 350° at all times throughout the cooking time.

    While the bird is draining, rub olive oil all over the bird and mix spices and rub the bird good with these.

    Rub and rub until you hurt.

    Now, place the turkey on the stand and deep-fry for 45 minutes.
