Ingredients
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 34 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 14 cup shortening, melted
- 1 (14 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 (14 ounce) can creamed corn
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Directions

1Blend dry ingredients together and set aside.

2Beat eggs, add milk and melted shortening.

3Pour into dry mixture add canned corn and mix well.

4(If it seems too wet add a touch of flour).

5Pour the vegetable oil in your cast iron skillet and place it in the oven at 375 Watch it carefully and when a drop of water sizzles when you put it in pour the mix into the skillet.

6It will deep fry around the edges and sizzle up the sides.

7Bake for 30-35 min until a clean table knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

8Cut into wedges and serve with Sweet BBQ chili.
