  • 4 lb. meat, ground (3 lb. deer and 1 lb. beef)
  • 1/4 c. Tender Quick
  • 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 3/4 Tbsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic powder

Directions

    Combine first 2 ingredients and refrigerate overnight.

    Next day, add remaining ingredients.

    Mix well and mold into logs or sticks.

    Place on cookie sheets or cake pans.

    Cook 4 hours at 225°.

    Cool completely before slicing or wrapping for freezer.
