- 2 lb. venison
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
Directions

1Cut the venison into thin strips no more than 1/4-inch. Combine soy sauce and seasonings.

2Pour over strips in a large bowl.

3Mix well and marinate for 8 to 10 hours.

4Place the strips on a wire rack over a baking sheet.

5Allow the strips to touch, but not overlap.

6Bake in the oven on low (150° to 170°) for 10 to 12 hours.

7(Let this bake during the night.)

8Thicker pieces may need to take longer.

9When cool store in Ziploc bags at room temperature.
