- 1 1/2 lb. diced deer meat
- 1 large onion
- salt and pepper to season
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp. crushed basil leaves
- 6 potatoes
- 4 carrots
- 3 strips bacon
Directions

1Cut deer up into small pieces; boil for about 1 hour and a half on medium-high.

2Dice onion, potatoes and carrots; add to boiled meat after half hour cooking.

3Add all other ingredients and continue cooking for the other hour.

4Serves 3 to 6.
