Ingredients: 3 c. flour; 3 tsp. baking powder; pinch of salt; 4 eggs; 2 c. sugar; 1/2 c. orange juice; 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla; 1 c. oil; 4 to 5 apples; 1/2 c. sugar; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1 tsp. nutmeg

3 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. oil
4 to 5 apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

Sift together dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and salt); set aside.

Mix eggs, 2 cups sugar, orange juice, vanilla and oil, then mix with dry ingredients.

Peel apples, cut into small pieces for inside of cake.

Add 1/2 cup sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.

(Save some to sprinkle on top of cake when it is done.) Bake 1 hour at 300°.
