- 5 lbs roast beef
- 3 tablespoons canola oil (original recipe calls for shortening)
- 2 onions
- 4 ounces green chilies
- 1 (16 ounce) bottle green chili sauce (I use La Victoria Salsa Verde Thick and Chunky)
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
Directions

1Brown roast, then roast in slow cooker or 200 degree oven for 10-12 hours.

2Drain through colander, trim fat (keep drippings).

3Shred meat.

4Heat Oil to med-high and saute onions and green chilies.

5Add salsa, garlic powder, flour, salt, and cumin.

6Cook until thick, then add juices in meat.

7Wrap desired amount of meat in tortillas and fry or bake according to personal taste.
