  • 10 Chicken drumettes - the first (thickest) joint of a chicken wing
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp Sake
  • 1 tsp Grated garlic
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1 Katakuriko

Directions

    Put the chicken drumettes and the ingredients in a plastic bag, and rub the seasoning into the meat.

    Marinate for 1 hour.

    Add Step 1 to a bowl to coat with katakuriko.

    Lift the bowl and swirl the contents so it's evenly coated.

    Shake off the excess katakuriko from the chicken.

    In hot oil heated over high, fry the chicken until golden brown.
