Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots, sliced
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup (undiluted)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves

Directions

    Slice carrots and cook in lightly salted water until done. Drain and cool.

    Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over carrots and marinate 24 hours.

    Will keep up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
