  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 9-inch unbaked pastry shell

Directions

    Mix raisins, nuts and vinegar and let stand.

    Combine butter, sugar and eggs and beat until thick.

    Beat in spices and salt; stir in raisin mixture.

    Turn mixture into unbaked shell and bake at 400° for 30 to 35 minutes.
