  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 lb. honey
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1/2 lb. citron
  • 1/4 lb. orange peel
  • 1 1/2 lb. pecans
  • 1 lb. white raisins

Directions

    Cream sugar, butter and eggs.

    Add honey, flour, candied fruit and orange peel.

    Mix well.

    Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.

    Bake 2 1/2 hours at 325°.

    Glaze with 2 parts honey and 1 part water. Yields 3 loaves.
