  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites

Directions

    Mix egg whites until stiff.

    Set aside. Add egg yolks and butter together.

    Mix well. Add sugar and mix well.

    Gradually add flour alternately with milk. Beat about 4 or 5 minutes.

    Fold stiff egg whites into mixture.

    Put into greased angel food pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.

    (Tube pan.)
