  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, except chocolate chips and nuts. Beat well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. These are chewy and may not look done, but are. Cool and cut into bars.
