Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped relatively fine
- 5 garlic cloves, minced fine
- 6 cups tomato sauce (I prefer roasted garlic)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated or 14 cup romano cheese
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- Worcestershire sauce, 1 big splash
Directions

1Sweat the onions in oil till translucent, over medium, then add garlic and cook for a minute or so, but dont let it burn.

2Add all remaining ingredients.

3Let it simmer, covered, on low heat for 3-4 hours.

4For extra flavor, (and more substantial food) add either meatballs, saute ground beef or pork (or both!
