- 1 doz. clams
- 1 1/2 slices bread
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 small minced onion
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. cream
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Grind alternately the clams and slices of bread.

2Saute in butter the onion.

3Add flour, cream, pepper, poultry seasoning and celery seed.

4Combine the two mixtures.

5Moisten with a little clam juice if needed.

6Simmer 5 minutes; fill shells.

7Top with buttered cracker crumbs.
