- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- dash of ground red pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 lb. crab meat
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Put 3 tablespoons butter in pan and lightly saute onions. (Before, rinse crab meat in cold water and remove ligaments if any.)

2Stir flour in butter mixture; add milk gradually and cook mixture until it thickens.

3Add slightly beaten egg yolk and crab meat, then season with Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, sage, pepper and red pepper.

4Cook 3 minutes, then stir in parsley and lemon juice.

5Fill crab shells with the mixture, then sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs.

6Bake in an oven at 350° for 20 minutes.
