Deviled Crab Balls

- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (1 1/2 lb.) loaf bread (3 days old)
- 5 eggs, hard-cooked
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 lb. fresh crabmeat, shredded
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Cook and stir onion in butter until soft. Cut crusts from bread; crumble bread into small bits in a large bowl.

3Add eggs, salt and mustard; mix well.

4Stir in onion, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and mayonnaise.

5Gently fold in crabmeat; shape into small balls.

6Place on cookie sheets.

7Bake 15 to 20 minutes.

8Serve hot with mustard sauce.

9Makes about 40 balls.
