  • 4 Tbsp. oleo
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. cooking sherry
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. green onion tops, chopped
  • 2 (7 oz.) cans crab meat
  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • diced whites of 5 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 c. melted oleo

Directions

    Make white sauce in double boiler with first 4 ingredients; add celery and onion.

    Gently fold in crab meat, bread crumbs and hard-boiled egg whites.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Pour into greased casserole; top with buttered crumbs and bake 30 minutes at 375°.
