Deviled Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • broccoli or cauliflower or carrots or any combination of favorite vegetables, cooked and drained
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Directions

    Blend all ingredients except the vegetables with the cup of milk.

    Cook, stirring until cooked and thickened. Stir small amounts of hot mix into the sour cream.

    Mix all together.

    Pour over hot cooked vegetables.

    Heat more if necessary, but, do not boil.
