  • 4 medium onions or 2 (16 oz.) cans whole onion, drained
  • 1/3 c. Heinz ketchup
  • 1/4 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 large can English or sweet peas
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

    Cook onions in boiling water until tender.

    Drain.

    Add peas. Heat oven to 350°.

    Add peas in shallow baking dish.

    Mix and add remaining ingredients.

    Pour over peas and onions.

    Bake 25 to 30 minutes, baste occasionally.
