- 1 (3 lb.) beef round steak
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Trim fat from meat.

2Combine salt, dry mustard and pepper. Sprinkle over meat and pound with mallet.

3In heavy skillet, brown steak slowly on both sides in hot oil.

4Drain fat.

5Drain mushrooms, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.

6Add mushroom liquid and Worcestershire sauce to skillet.

7Cover and cook 1 3/4 to 2 hours. Add mushrooms a few minutes.
