Deviled Veal Steaks Recipe

- 1 1/2 lbs. veal shoulder steaks
- Flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Watkins ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Watkins dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon Watkins paprika
- 1/4 c. fat
- 2 med. onions, sliced
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. thick soured cream
Directions

1Blend flour and seasonings and lb.

2into the meat.

3Heat fat in a heavy skillet, add in onions and cook and stir till yellow.

4Remove from pan and set aside.

5Brown meat on both sides over moderate heat, adding a little more fat, if necessary.

6Cover with onions, add in water, cover the pan and cook over low heat about 1 hour or possibly till the meat is tender.

7Remove meat to warmed serving platter, add in cream to drippings and heat only to serving temperature, but don't boil.

8pour over chops and serve at once.
