Devon'S Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 yellow squash, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1 large (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 4 shakes seasoned salt
  • salt and pepper to taste (optional)

Directions

    Boil whole head cabbage just until leaves begin to fall or peel off.

    Remove cabbage; let water drain off and separate leaves. Retain water in pot for next use.

    Mix all other ingredients together.

    Put a tablespoon or more of mixture in each leaf and roll up, securing with a toothpick or string.

    Drop cabbage rolls into pot of water and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour or until done.
