- 1 1/2 c. stoneground, yellow cornmeal
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. cultured nonfat buttermilk
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- vegetable cooking spray
Directions

1Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder and soda in a medium bowl.

2Stir well.

3Add beaten egg and buttermilk.

4Stir until smooth.

5Pour batter into a 9-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400° for 35 minutes or until cornbread is golden.
