- 2 slices dry bread
- 1 Tbsp. diet margarine
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 3 c. apples, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. dietetic maple topping
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Make crumbs from bread toasted in the oven.

3Mix crumbs with margarine, cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon allspice.

4Mix apples with lemon juice, maple topping and the rest of allspice.

5Spread in well greased shallow pan (8-inch round). Cover with crumb mixture and bake 45 minutes or until apples are tender.

6Serve warm.
