- tomatoes, quartered or cherry tomatoes whole
- 1/8 tsp. alum
- 3/4 c. canning salt
- 2 sprigs dill
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 3 qt. water
Directions

1Pack tomatoes into hot sterile jars.

2To each quart, add the amounts listed of alum, garlic and dill.

3Combine vinegar, salt and water; bring to boil.

4Fill jars with liquid and seal.

5One jalapeno pepper may be added to each jar if desired.
