- 1/8 tsp. alum
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 heads dill
- 1 hot pepper
- cucumbers (small or speared may be used)
- 1 c. salt
- 3 qt. water
- 1 qt. apple cider vinegar
- grape leaves
Directions

1Wash cucumbers and let stand overnight in cold water.

2Pack in jars.

3Mix salt, water and apple cider vinegar.

4Bring to boil. Pour vinegar in jars.

5Place a grape leaf in the top of each jar. Seal.
