- 3 qt. well or rain water
- 1 c. salt (coarse)
- 1 qt. vinegar (white, distilled)
- garlic
- fresh dill
Directions

1Wash cucumbers and chill in ice water overnight.

2Pack in jars with dill and garlic.

3Separate pods of garlic and put 3 pieces of garlic and flowertop and leaf of dill into 1 quart jar.

4Bring to boiling point, but do not boil, the water, salt and vinegar.

5Pour mixture over cucumbers; seal at once.
-
6Cures in 6 to 8 weeks. Enough for about 8 quarts.
