  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 3 qt. water
  • 1 scant c. salt
  • 7 heads dill
  • 7 cloves garlic
  • small cucumbers

Directions

    Pack cucumbers in jars with 1 head of dill and 1 clove of garlic in each jar.

    Put vinegar, water and salt in large kettle and bring to a boil.

    Pour while boiling hot over cucumbers in jars.

    Cover each jar with canning lid and ring.

    Place jars in boiling water bath for 15 minutes.

    (Start timing as soon as jars are placed in boiling water.)

    Makes 7 quarts.
