- 1 pt. water
- 30 to 40 medium cucumbers, cut in half lengthwise
- green or dry dill
- 1/2 c. salt
- 3 Tbsp. pickling spices
- 1 qt. vinegar
Directions

1Combine sugar, salt, vinegar and water.

2Tie spices in cheesecloth bag; add to vinegar mixture.

3Simmer 15 minutes. Liquid brine will make about 5 quarts.
