  • 3 qt. water
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • about 1 pkg. of small cucumbers, washed and dried
  • 1 cup canning salt
  • fresh dill, alum, garlic cloves

Directions

    In each jar, put 2 dill heads, 1 clove garlic, alum (the size of a pea) and cucumbers packed tightly.

    Mix water, vinegar, and salt in pan and bring to a boil.

    Pour over cucumbers and let stand about 5 minutes; drain. Heat again.

    Do this 3 times then seal.
