  • 1/4 tsp. alum
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp. dill seed
  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 3 qt. water
  • 1 c. plain salt

Directions

    Place in quart jars alum, garlic salt and dill seed.

    Fill jars with whole or sliced cucumbers.

    Bring to a boil the vinegar, water and salt.

    Pour over cucumbers in jars.

    Seal, then shake to mix.
