- 30 cucumbers
- 1/2 c. coarse salt
- 2 qt. water
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 bay leaves
- 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. mixed pickling spice
- 10 sprigs dill
Directions

1Wash and dry cucumbers

2and arrange in a crock or jar.

3Bring salt and water to a boil.

4Cool, then add vinegar, garlic, bay leaves, mustard and pickling spices.

5Pour over cucumbers. Arrange dill over all.

6Liquid should completely cover cucumbers. If not, add more salt water.

7Keep in a cool place for one week.
