- 3 c. apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 c. canning salt
- powdered alum
- crushed red pepper
- dill or dill seed
- garlic
Directions

1Bring water, vinegar and canning salt to a boil.

2Wash cucumbers.

3Drop in enough cucumbers to fill a quart.

4Stir these around when they change color.
