- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. dill seed
Directions

1Soften yeast 10 minutes.

2Combine in large bowl the cheese, butter, sugar, salt, soda, onion, dill, egg and yeast.

3Beat well. Add flour gradually.

4Cover; let rise in warm place until double (about 1 hour).

5Punch down.

6Turn into well-greased loaf pan. Let rise until light, 35 to 40 minutes.

7Bake in a 350° oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
