  • 2 lb. fresh green beans
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 heads dill
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 2 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. salt

Directions

    Pack beans lengthwise in pint jars.

    Add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 clove garlic and head of dill to each jar.

    Combine water and vinegar.

    Cover beans with the mixture.

    Process for 10 minutes in boiling water bath.

    Allow to stand for about 2 weeks to let flavor develop.
