- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Combine all other ingredients, except flour, with yeast and water.

3Cottage cheese should be at room temperature.

4Soak a few minutes.

5Add flour; mix with spoon. Cover.

6Let rise in warm place for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

7Stir down and put in well-greased 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish.

8Let rise 30 to 45 minutes.

9Bake at 325° to 350° for 40 to 50 minutes. Brush while warm with 1 tablespoon butter and salt the top. Remove from dish, cut and serve warm.
