- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in water.

2Warm cottage cheese, then add sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, yeast and egg.

3Stir.

4Add flour gradually and mix thoroughly.

5There is no kneading necessary.

6Let rise 1 hour and punch down.

7Shape into 1 loaf and place in well-greased bread pan.

8Let rise until double in bulk. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.

9Brush with melted butter.
