- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast with water then add cottage cheese.

2Mix remaining ingredients except flour.

3Add to yeast mixture then add flour.

4Make a stiff dough.

5Beat well - do not use electric mixer.

6Let rise 50 - 60 minutes in warm place until dough is light and doubled in size; stir down.

7Turn into well-greased bread pan.

8Let rise 30 to 40 minutes.

9Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.

10Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
