- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2-1/4 c. flour
- 2 TBSP. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 TBSP. butter
- 1 c. cottage cheese
Directions

1Soak the yeast in 1/4 c. warm water, sift together the flour, sugar, salt, soda and dill seed.

2Make a hole in center of the flour mixture, add the cottage cheese, egg, butter and yeast.

3Mix ingredients thoroughly and let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

4Shape into 2 loaves and place on cookie sheet. Let rise again and bake at 350° for 35 min.

5After loaves are removed from the oven, butter the top and sprinkle with salt.
