- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. large curd cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast on warm water; stir to dissolve.

2Heat cottage cheese in saucepan until lukewarm.

3Combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill, salt, soda, egg and yeast in bowl.

4Add flour, a little at a time, to make a stiff batter; beat well after each addition.

5Cover and let rise in greased ovenproof bowl until doubled, 30 to 40 minutes.

6Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes. Makes one loaf.
