- 2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 yeast cakes
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Heat first 4 ingredients to lukewarm.

2Add yeast softened in water.

3Beat eggs well and add to mixture.

4Beat mixture thoroughly, then sift in 3 cups flour and beat well.

5Knead in more flour to make it workable, but keep the dough soft.

6Place dough in bowl, cover with cloth.

7Place where warm.

8Let rise to top of bowl; press dough down, then shape rolls and place close together in lightly buttered baking pan.

9Let rise above pan.

10Bake in 350° oven until brown.
