- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Combine milk, sugar, oil and salt.

3Cool to lukewarm.

4Add 1 1/2 cups flour.

5Beat well.

6Beat in the yeast and slightly beaten egg.

7Gradually add remaining 2 cups of flour.

8Work well.

9Put in greased bowl.

10Turn once.

11Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours or double in bulk.

12Mash down and shape into rolls.

13Let rise again.

14Bake in a 400° oven.

15Makes one large pan.
